Mr. Bob Davis

Mr. Davis feels blessed and priveleged to have been a teacher for 28 years.  He spent 6 years teaching in Nulato, a small village on the Yukon River, and the last 22 years here in Wrangell. He is exited to move into his new role as Head Teacher/Assistant Principal of Stikine Middle School and Wrangell High School.

As a product of Alaska's education system, Mr. Davis attended grade school in Anchorage, junior high in Juneau, and graduated high school back in Anchorage.  He earned a degree in English and another in History from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Since then, his students have become his primary teachers, teaching him more about life, education and simply being human than any professor or class ever could.

When he's not at school, Mr. Davis can usually be found with a book in his hand, hanging out with his grandkids, or planning next year's courses.

After nearly 30 years of teaching, he believes that educating a child is a team sport--so please don't hesitate to contact him if you have any worries, questions or suggestions concerning your child, the curriculum or the school requirements. We're in this together!
