Welcome to the Wrangell Public School District

  • Wrangell Public School District is located on beautiful Wrangell Island on the Southeast panhandle of Alaska's Tongass National Forest. Only accessable by boat or plane, Wrangell gets along with a population of around 2,400 people; 325 of the residents are enrolled as students in the Wrangell Public School District with 86 enrolled at Wrangell High School, 62 enrolled at Stikine Middle School, and 177 enrolled at Evergreen Elementary School for the 2018/2019 school year.


    Wrangell has an excellent school district offering a rigorous curriculum to best serve their students beginning with Kindergarten and continuing through 12th grade to prepare the children for amazing futures.
