After 8 years of teaching in Prince of Wales Island, grades preschool-12th grade, Mrs. Howell is excited to return to Wrangell to teach 2nd grade and make our island her permanent home! She lived in Wrangell from 2011-2014 while she worked for Alaska Crossings and Wrangell Public Schools while getting her teaching degree. Mrs. Howell and her family have enjoyed summers and holidays visiting the island. Aly loves the outdoors.  When not in the classroom, she enjoys kayaking, fishing, running, and hiking.
